No Labor Day Baby

09.02.08

So we didn't have a baby on Labor Day. I do think LA had some labor pains but she wouldn't admit it. If anything would have happened yesterday that resembled having a baby, I am sure she would have left and gone to a friend/family's house to wait it out and if the baby did decide to come she would have had the baby without me and told me on Tuesday. However, my hope is not officially over. How you ask? Well, Labor Day could fall on any day between the 1st and the 7th. So, we could still have a Labor Day baby. My dream is still alive.

PS - This could be a crazy week - work, maybe a baby, hurricane, evacuation...Say a prayer that Hannah makes a turn and heads out to sea (or further north, hate to wish it someone else but the timing is not real good right now for me) Today's forecast is landfall in Chucktown. Everyone keeps telling us that if the hurricane comes, the baby is coming also - has something to do with the baby not wanting to miss a major event like a hurricane. Actually, it has to do with the low pressure...whatever, sounds like another old wives tale.

PPS - Two more storms right behind Hannah - Ike (I Like Ike) and Josephine (bad things happen in threes - hopefully not)
