I told you the Carolina vs Kentucky game was a trap game. I think I am going to change the name of my blog to You Heard It Hear First.
Life is tough at the top, just ask Alabama, Ohio State, and Oklahoma. Oregon and Auburn are on watch this weekend.
Clemson has defeated 2 of 3 thorns in their sides - Maryland and Georgia Tech. Boston College is on tap this week at BC. Even with BC at or near the bottom of the ACC it will probably still be a good game. Clemson seems to be improving. Probably has something to do with Andre Ellington running to ball more often, limiting the number of times Jamie Harper touches the ball and The Million Dollar Man (KP) not playing with his head up his backside which has been aided by the receivers actually catching the balls that are catchable.
When trying to keep your daughter from being scared by the thunder and lightning, it is best not to jump into her lap even when the bolt of lightning hits about 3 feet from you as you are putting her in her car seat. (Don't know exactly how close but it was flash/bam and I was in her lap and looking at her with the "Are we both ok, look?")
Wyatt is still drooling. He's got a rash under his chin, he drools so much. He needs a rubber rain suit. He is now officially crawling and can even sit up for a short period of time before he falls over and starts crawling. He is even saying
"Da Da" a little bit. We are still waiting on his first tooth.
The NBA season starts tonight and I say "Who cares?" The only thing I care about is Boston beating Miami tonight. Boston's BIG 3.5 (Pierce, Garnett, Allen and "The Big Shamrock") vs Miami's big 3 (Wade, Bosh, and "The Decision"). I am hoping tonight that the tone is set and that "I am Witness" to Miami's quest for a title getting derailed...a self implosion. This might be the most NBA you will ever read on this blog...unless I add a feature to track the Heat's demise. The final chapter of this story will not be written until June...enjoy your winter and check back in April to see how Miami is doing. "The Decision" has a new Nike commercial out (You will have to click the link to watch it...I am not embedding it.).

Where have I/LA been in the past two weeks?

LA and I went to dinner with Tim and Arlette...very nice, somehow it turned into a 4 hour meal that seemed only about an hour...fun times...a big shout out to our babysitters - Grandma and Aube for being troopers.
*2010 Motorola Road Show - Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Left on Monday (18th) at the crack of dawn thirty from CHS airport...meeting Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday and hope Tuesday night.(Not that it really mattered because I was only in the room for about 12 hours BUT when checking in and I am paying for all 3 rooms, it might be nice to put the person funding everyone's stay in the nicer room. My room was a side view of another building. I could lean out over the balcony railing to see the ocean while my traveling compatriots rooms were ocean front, high floor, marble showers, and super deluxe...I made one of them change with me...nah, I thought about it but decided to be nice.) I am pretty sure I gave my sinus infection to everyone on the plane from CHS to ATL, ATL to FLL, everyone at the meetings and on the return flights home. I did not feel good the whole time.
However, it was a pretty good trip for me. I won a $50 gift card in a trivia game about Motorola products and I won NFL tickets to any regular season game remaining. (So, I am sure you are wondering how I won. We used these handheld devices to record our answers and the quickest correct answer got the most points and was a declining scale from there based on when answered relative to everyone else. I figured out that you could answer at any point once the question was on the screen, so it was about speed reading and knowing the answers. And let's be honest here. The questions were not about how to split an atom...actually they were harder because you actually had to pay attention to the speaker to know the answer and couldn't skip a session...it keep me in the meetings.) Motorola has access to all the teams through their relationship with the NFL providing the sideline communications for all the teams (coaches on the field to the coaches in the booth and the system that the quarterback and defense captain have that allows the coach to scream in their ear after each play and give them the next play). Not sure what it costs Motorola but I am sure it isn't cheap. I guess the added perk is that they get some tickets.
Since I am not a die hard NFL fan, the question is where to go. I have thoughts on the subject and I have had a few suggestions from friends:

There were other teams and stadiums that were considered. LA wanted to go to Indianapolis to see Payton or Boston to see the New England and Tom Brady (wonder why that is?). I thought about New York Jets because I might get to see Ines Sainz on the sidelines but I have decided that there is only one real choice for us. LA and I will make our pilgrimage to MECCA - Cowboys Stadium at a cost of $1.2 Billion dollars (Which this year it became the second most costly stadium ever built. The Jets and Giants New Meadowlands home cost $1.6 Billion. It cost that much just because it was built in New York) which is just over 300 times the combined lifetime income of LA and I. The Cowboys will be playing the Redskins on that day. Why the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboy Stadium?
*$1.2 Billion Dollars - It's got to be worth seeing.
*Largest domed stadium in the world (it actually has a retractable roof)
*Largest HDTV screen (60 yards long - 20 yard line to 20 yard line)
*Nicknamed - Jone-Mahal, The Palace In Dallas, 6 Flags Over Jerry
*The weather was a factor, I am not a die hard enough fan of any NFL team to sit in the freezing cold at Lambeau or The New Meadowlands Stadium
*Our schedules
*LA vetoed a Thanksgiving Trip to Dallas to watch the New Orleans Saints play the Cowboys...something about shopping on Black Friday...she said I could go and take a friend but I really want her to go with me and share the experience.
*The Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders...duh
*It one of the oldest rivalries in the NFL - I grew up playing cowboys and indians (now it's cowboys and native americans)
*I actually remember Tom Landry - Cowboys ("Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it's so incredible, it's unbelievable") and George Allen - Redskins coaching against each other
*The Cowboys are "Americas Team" and were even known as "South Americas Team" for a little while because of some drug problems with players
So the arrangements are in the works for a trip to Big D to see JR and South Fork Ranch, North Dallas Forty and the hapless Cowboys. I wish the Cowboys were playing better and that the Redskins game might mean something but I think this trip is going to be more about the stadium, the NFL experience, and Dallas than the actual football.

When hiking and going downhill, always remember that the climb back up the hill is much harder. I am officially out of shape at 43 years of age and not even close to being in shape. I need to find some older friends to hang out with so I can feel better about myself.
Don't eat a big lunch before hiking...you aren't going to walk it off. You might throw it up but your definitely not waking it off.
Never take advise from someone you don't know about pressing a door bell button...the person coming to the door isn't going to think it is near as funny as the person you didn't know thought it was.

Countdown To The Title
I blogged in August about my friend Greg and Jenn having baby 3...remember you heard it hear first.
Normally, I wouldn't be interested in the exact due date (because I am a guy...just something in general works for me like late/early and the month...for example late April works fine for me. I am not having the baby and it's not mine (at least I'm pretty sure it's not mine). Just let know when you have the baby.). However since there is a title on the line - Providence: You Know Where Babies Come From, Right?, I am very interested.
The current record holders are LA and I (duh...):
1 Year, 5 Months, 19 Days (09/14/2008-03/05/10)
Greg and Jenn are in the running to break our record. Susie was born on October 18, 2010 (Happy Birthday on Monday, Susie! Send her gifts/money to 102 Mapperton Court, Summerville, SC 29485 - she loves toys that make lots of noise and Benjamin's in big stacks!)
Jennifer's due date for baby 3 is April 4, 2011.
The number of days between the dates are
1 Year, 5 Months, 17 Days (October 18, 2010 - April 4, 2011)
To be a co-record holder baby 3 would have to be born on April 6, 2011. Anything earlier than April 6th and we will have a new record holder and we will transfer the title belt to them. This is exciting. I might need to find out Jenn's doctor's name to make sure this baby stays on track for an on time delivery. Based on baby 1 and 2, there is a better than pretty good chance that baby 3 will be early.
Las Vegas has set the odds at 7/1 for the new record holder...line is subject to changed based on updates from doctor's visits. Get your bets in early.

Random Thoughts Monday
Lets see...two weekends of Clemson football - 1,014 miles, $325 dollars and 2 losses...Still a fan, just a little tired. Go Tigers! (even if your coaches couldn't game plan for a game against a pee wee football team)
Looking at the schedule this year, I knew week's 3, 4 and 5 (Auburn, Miami, and UNC) were going to tough...expected to win 1 and hoped to win 2 - should have won all 3. Only Auburn is good football team right now. Miami got plastered by FSU and UNC was down 11 players yesterday, including 2 first round draft picks from the defensive side of the ball (Marvin Austin and Fort Dorchester product Robert Quinn).
PS-Mr. Austin is a fine individual (sarcasm)who wouldn't even sign a hat for a 12 year old before the game..."Not right now" Really...why, your tutor or agent wasn't there to do it for you? UPDATE: Mr. Austin has been dismissed from school. Awe that's a shame. He must have used some of the cash he got to buy the awful green warm up suit he was wearing Saturday.
Offensively, I can't imagine it getting any easier...UNC is terrible against the run giving up football fields of yards each week and the most conservative defense in the country...yet, we never tried to establish a running game and they only rushed 4 all day, never blitzed...had all day to throw but our "new" freshmen receivers couldn't get away from a defender if their life depended on it (PS...they played much better than the veterans which is pitiful)
Defensively, Da'Quan Bowers is the man. We fall asleep for a few plays each game. Mr. All American last year is Mr. Toast this year (DeAndre McDaniel) and he hasn't figured out that tackling with just your shoulder isn't going to cut it at this level...got to wrap them up with your arms. Expect to see a lot more passes thrown deep by opposing quarterbacks not expecting the WR to catch it but looking for the pass interference call. We can't make the stop when the game is on the line.
Ellington vs Harper - Superstar vs Dancing With The Stars
Harper must have some dirt on the coaching staff...only reason I can think of he continues to play...put him at receiver, he can catch the ball.
Scary thought is that his 10 yard TD run will probably convince the coaching staff that he is the number 1 back and Ellington number 2 (Dabo said Ellington was getting more touches, today. We will see what happens...stay tuned)
Crazy to think that Ellington only carried the ball 11 times on Sat...He is averaging over 5 yards per carry...simple math says two handoffs to him and we have a first down. Mr Happy Feet, running east and west isn't going to get it done. Someone needs to tell him that at 230 pounds, he isn't going to juke a lot of defenders but he could punish them for attempting to tackle him...or just continue to dance around.
It doesn't get any easier...still got NCSU and FSU on the schedule plus at least one of the others that we will be favored in that we will screw up somehow like Ga Tech 2004 which I got to witness first hand. Watching this makes me realize nothing much has changed since TB except we have a Tiger Walk and we don't seem to quit after getting punched in the mouth.
One more fact...we have 11 count them 11 walk-ons on scholarship. Weren't good enough to be recruited but came to Clemson walked-on and we gave 11 of our 85 scholarships. I can understand 1 or 2 and I know Dabo has a soft heart but for the walk-on but 11.
We still employ Brad Scott...enough said. If he wasn't good enough for SC then he shouldn't have been good enough for us.
This applies to the top 40 D1 schools (Which I am going to included Clemson, it's my blog. You can disagree but it's not going to do any good.). I find it hard to believe that with all the high school football players in the country that schools like Clemson can not recruit a quality kicker or punter to the school. It's evident we have enough scholarships. All I am looking for is someone to kick consistently a 30 to 45 yard field goal and a punter that can punt it at least 40 yards every time and someone to kickoff that can kick it into the end zone. We have 1 of the 3 this year. Not going to complain about our only highlight - Dawson Zimmerman punting.
Enough of the Clemson football ranting and raving...
A big shout out to all my Carolina friends who speaking of punching someone in the mouth and then jumping on top of them and not letting them get up...BIG victory and nice jump in the poles to Number 10...remember, now you have to do it every week. Don't fall asleep against Kentucky which I am sure all the analysts will be calling a "trap game".

I am tired of all this stuff coming out years later. If it was a problem when it happened then report it. These events with Brett Farve allegedly happened two years ago. Jen Sterger has turned her 5 minutes of fame while at FSU into a career....website, Maxium, Playboy, SI,Jets...etc Hope she thanked Brent Musburger and the camera man.
*Who are your friends? Can you trust them? Man, I guess I am lucky because I have friends that I can. At least, 1 of the 3 friends of the girl at Duke that sent her "friends" something very private wasn't a true friend and leaked it out instead of deleting it and now it has gone viral. Thanks...Sorry, won't fix this one. Tough way to get your 5 minutes of fame...I'll pass.
Herschel Walker, Heisman Trophy winner, NFL, USFL, UGA grad at the age of 48 years old has taken up MMA. He has always been in incredible shape. Which reminds me of a joke - Where is the only place Herschel Walker hasn't been? The end zone at Clemson. Which if you ever saw him play college football, it is pretty amazing. That was back when we could actually play defense.

Are the seat belts on the car seat optional? Forgot to buckle in Aubrey yesterday for our trip to Brunch. LA turned around and was like "Hello, did you forget something? You didn't buckle Aubrey in. In my defense, I got busy reinstalling the seat and sat her in the seat while I tightened the last buckle holding the seat in place and then just shut her door and away we went. Opps, everyone was fine.
We are still singing "Happy Birthday"...how long will that last? I guess all year since we have family birthdays happening what seems like every week. Anybody got a different version of Happy Birthday they can teach Aubrey.

Exodus 8:16-19; I don't know what the people in Lodge, SC (Tim McGraw...said it best - "Well I'm from a map dot, A stop sign on a black top" - Where The Green Grass Grows) did but they made The Man upstairs mad...worst place in the world for gnats, I have even been. City slickers don't even attempt to go - your arms and lungs are not in shape to fight them off. The people living there have somehow adapted and they don't seem to mind having them crawling and flying all over them. It amazing to watch the gnats fly all over them and they just carry on a conversation like the gnats are not even there, while you are swing your arms and blowing to keep them way. Best place for a city boy like me and you is inside. When we leave, we transport a few hundred of them away from Lodge to Summerville in a relocation program but they evidently can't survive in the city environment.
Speaking of Lodge...LA and I have been attacked by at least 3 birds on our last 4 trips to Lodge. Like driving down the road and actually duck, hit the brakes, and crap in our pants when the bird is about 6 inches from the windshield or the side door. PS - I am not talking about cardinals and blue birds. I am talking Hawks and Vultures. PS - If Aubrey and Wyatt have learned a bad word from us it is because of those 3 encounters.
Yes, we know our faces are burned and we look like raccoons - LA's kids at school were telling her that she looked a raccoon (minus the rac, those kids will say anything - they have no filter, totally not appropriate). They bad part was I could feel my face melting but couldn't do anything about it. First time I have ever had sunburn in October...lesson learned.
Reminds me of a trip to Colorado in February for snow skiing - 1st trip out West. 6 people - 1 major case of sun poisoning, 2 minor cases and 3 burnt to a crisp (almost had sun poisoning). Lesson learned - even if it is 30 degrees outside you can still get burned...something about the suns reflection off the white snow. 1st and only time the bottom of my nose was sunburned.
With the growing waist line of everyone in America, when are the seats (especially when it's a bench with just a bunch of numbers on it...exactly where does the seat start and end?) at sporting events going to get bigger. You almost need to buy 2 seats per person just to have enough room to breathe. The bigger guy wins the comfort battle. I am starting conditioning for next football season.
Were we not supposed to switch Wyatt from formula to protein shakes? Opps...
Rumors are circulating that a certain coach from an unnamed local high school whose colors are green and gold is already recruiting Wyatt for defensive end. "I know nothing"
We are thinking about red shirting Wyatt at 5 for pee-wee football
The Marriott Dtown Greenville, SC owes me for the other half of my stay since we were only there about 6 hours.
Our tickets to Clemson football games are in the upper deck only 10 rows - row J...we don't think they are bad seats (easy to the bathroom and easy to the concession stand...time it right and you don't even miss a series) and for the cost of the IPTAY and tickets, they work out just fine. Funny thing is people who are trying to find their seats and tell you that you are in their seats and when you look at their ticket they are row JJ - your close but your going to need to go another 50 steps - 25 rows. Sorry, keep climbing. If we sat any higher in the upper deck, I would need a Sherpa.
They need concession stands at the top of the upper deck for those fans.
They man behind us is the most negative person I have ever been around. You couldn't make him happy. He's the type that could win the lottery and be mad because he only won $32 million instead of $132 million. God Bless his wife and my money says that he never attended Clemson.
Evidently, LA and I don't love our kids because we don't take ours to the game. We watched countless infants - just days old be carried into stadium. They are dedicated parents. We watched a mother with an approximately 3/4 year old and and infant go up and down the stairs numerous times. She had to be exhausted when she got home. Sorry kids, maybe next year.
The campus frat houses were a lot calmer this past weekend at Clemson.

The Palmetto Patriot Award is given for one's commitment to public service within their state and community. The award is the highest the Lieutenant Governor can bestow. It took this long?
Congrats to Ms. Doubtfire for leading Europe to victory of the US in the Ryder Cup.
Rickie Fowler - a PGA tour rookie, Ryder Cup rookie and nerves of steel - 4 straight birdies, down 3 with 3 to play. Not the best video clip but does show his approach at 16, 17 and putts at 17 and 18. I want him on my team!
I am not blaming the Ryder Cup loss on Hunter Mahan (The blame is on everyone who played in Round 3 that got there arse handed to them - from up 2 points to down 4) but he did make me feel better with his flub up on 17. It was at the worse possible time, Ryder Cup on the line, I couldn't imagine the pressure. I do the same thing without all the pressure...thanks for being human.
The Braves found one more save in arm of Billy Wagner and limped into the playoffs. The engine is smoking but the pit crew has a couple of days off to fixer up before playing the San Francisco Giants. PS - This is not an indication that I am watching or actually care about MLB. You can get away from it - newspaper and SportsCenter.

Check Up Day - 2 Years and 6 Months - Updated
Wyatt and Aubrey had their checkups this week.
The appointments went better that we thought. Aubrey was good with the doctor listening to her heart and lungs, checking her eyes, and even let him check her ears. We got the Dr. to get the "bugs" out of Aubrey's ears. She had been telling us for about a week that she had "bugs" in her ears and he checked our her boo-boo on her finger. She hasn't mentioned either one of them since. He is a miracle worker. She even got her flu mist and didn't complain. She wasn't thrilled about the shots but when she got stickers and a dum dum everything was alright.
Wyatt checked out good. No bugs in his ears. He wasn't thrilled about the shots but he recovered quickly.
Here is the tale of the tape.
Aubrey
Height: 35.5" (+2.5" from 18 month checkup) - 90th percentile
Weight: 32lbs (+3.5lbs from 18 month checkup) - 95 percentile
She's healthy.
They don't measure her head anymore. I don't know why they just don't. I guess they just eyeball it...looks about the right size.
Wyatt
Length: 27.25" (+1.75" from 4 month appointment) - 75th percentile
Weight: 18lb 8oz (+6lb 2oz from 4 month appointment) - 50 percentile
Head: 17.25 (+.75" from 4 month appointment) - 50 percentile
For some reason, I can't find Aubrey's stats at 6 months.
I know what your thinking...it is the same thing we were thinking. He is only in the 50th percentile for weight and 75 for height. How big is a 90/95th percentile child? Let's be honest, you are really thinking - holy crap, he put on 6lbs 2oz in 2 months. When they weighed him and told us how much, LA and I looked at each other and were like wow, that's 6lbs in two months - almost a pound per week. Wyatt response was "Dont' judge me. I like to eat!". He became a little chunk almost overnight...it is all about formula vs mommy's milk. The formula will put the weight on.
Wyatt is getting busy in a hurry. He is already very grabby and into anything he can get his hands on, even Aubrey and her toys..."Wyatt is touching me", "Wyatt, that's mine". He is also almost crawling. He can get up on his hand and knees and get around. I guess it is not officially crawling but it is more than army crawling. We thought he was going to be the calm one but he is starting at about the same age when Aubrey started getting busy...everyone in the Ulmer family and Carter family has told us that child 2 was busier than child 1...God help us if that is the case for us, keep on praying for us.

I had lunch with my fellow home remodeler, Danny and we were discussing Wyatt's impressive weight gain and I began to tell him that Wyatt had been demolishing his bottles the past couple of nights in record time and I attributed it to him just being hungry but as I was talking to Danny about this, I paused and the light went on - the reason he was demolishing the bottles - I told Danny "it's the nipples" and he replied "that's too much information" and I told him LA had changed the nipples on his bottles to number 3's to which Danny stared at me not fully understanding what I had told him and said "What are you talking about? You mean he's got the bottles with the vortex nipples." - that's funny. I busted out laughing and I said "Yep, now you understand". That would be a great product for a baby...if it makes Miller Lite taste better, what could it do for milk? Danny and I are going to be rich. You heard it hear first - VORTEX BABY BOTTLES in stores in early 2011. Tell all your friends.

Random Thoughts Monday
*Went to my first Thursday night high school football game, a Ashley Ridge victory against James Island - tried to get on tv by letting Aubrey run on the field but had her over the fence but she chickened out - she can probably tackle better than most of those kids
*The silence of no kids, not changing diapers and not taking Aubrey to potty is renewing
*LA and I can be extremely lazy given the right circumstances (for example, a couple of nights away in Savannah, GA or pretty much any night after 8:30pm at home)
*Savannah heard we were coming and had a huge fireworks display to welcome us on Friday night...talk about making us feel special.
*There is nothing better waking up on Saturday knowing that the only thing you have to worry about is eating and college football.
*Charleston is light years ahead of Savannah in the upscale dining options - Proof of Point - 2010 Best of Savannah Awards - Steaks
Winner - Ruth's Chris (can't argue that point, especially when you read who the runner up was)
Runner Up - Outback Steakhouse
Honestly, that is like two different categories. I love some Outback and we eat there often but you can't compare Outback to Ruth's Chris. It would be like saying Ryans was the runner up to Outback.
So you're in Savannah and want a steak but due to a minor construction accident that flooded out the the basement kitchen of Ruth's Chris they were closed - talk about being disappointed. We went to the Chart House - good food but not Ruth's Chris and fortunately, we ate before the party of 140 frat guys arrived...might should have stayed for the adventure but actually glad we missed them.
*River Street in Savannah is a cool place. You can actually have a toter in Savannah...not in Charleston, unless you want to visit cell block 39. (A tourist was actually arrested in Charleston over the summer for an open container - video, letter to the editor from victim). I am agreeing with the tourist in this case. How about pouring it out and a verbal warning or a ticket, fine and court date?
*Bohemian Hotel on River Street is a happening place - great food downstairs (very good, perfectly cooked hamburger, great crab cake) and a rocking roof top bar - a little to rocking when the old fuddy duds are ready to get some sleep after a long day of watching football...I kept yelling turn it down but they kept saying shut up old man...ps - a group of girls is exponentially louder than a group of guys.
*We had a coin toss to see if we were actually going to pick up the kids or leave them until the grandparents called wondering when we were coming to get them...did we say Sunday, we must have forgot the December 19th part...tell them we "love them". PS - Had to go 7 out of 9 to finally win the coin flip - left the kids in Lodge, SC until December. We are officially undercover until then.
*Everybody always says that "if I when the lottery, I am going to keep on working"...I will be honest, I am not working if I win. I am going to the office and leaving my keys on the front desk and saying "Good Bye, Good Luck, y'all figure it all out". Guess, I better start playing the lottery. Never going to win, if you don't play.

*I am glad to see Jim Furyk was able to win the golf tournament yesterday but more importantly that he won the $10 million FedEx Cup (the $10 million is differed into some kind of retirement account). His oversleeping earlier in the FedEx Cup almost cost him the $10 million, thank goodness that a couple of other guys laid an egg over the weekend.
*Auburn is the winner of the 2010 Battle of South Carolina. That's a tough place to get a victory...you would almost think they were Notre Dame with "Touchdown Jesus" watching over them. Next year the battles take place on our home turf, see you in Death Valley and Williams Brice.
*Carolina Panthers - horrible
*Buffalo Bills - terrible; CJ Spiller there only hope - 1st NFL Touchdown and followed it up with a 98 yard kickoff return
*Atlanta Braves - talk about limping home down the stretch. They are leaking some serious oil and are about to blow the engine and have an early fall
*I have a reality show idea - normal, average joe picks his position, pads up and trains for one week to play against an NFL team. Will he survive or be carried off on the golf cart? My prediction is Nielsen ratings smash (line up the advertisers) and a boom for the golf cart business and medical staff nearby.

*Motorola will split into two companies in Q1 2011 - finally, the cellphone business will no longer be sucking the life out of the two-way radios that has been toting their behind for all these years since Nokia and everyone else started taking their market share - anybody in business school looking for a paper topic on how to go from market inventor and leader (800 pound gorilla) to also ran check out Motorola. Looks like Google is going to help save their bacon.

The 3:30pm ABC game of the week is Virginia Tech vs NC State (Is this game really more exciting than the Clemson vs Miami game? Didn't V Tech lose to James Madison and Kyle Parker was drafted higher that Russell Wilson from NC State and the State fans do that silly (actually thinking of another word) wolfpack thing with their fingers.)
When Miami was in there bad boy days and were playing Notre Dame, you had to love the T-shirts "Catholics vs Convicts" and I don't even like Notre Dame.
I guess Florida is the new Miami and has the Al Davis motto "Just Win Baby"
*So I put off buying a new phone for almost a year until Aubrey finally finished off my ancient Motorola Q. I analyzed and had heartburn over which phone to purchase - Droid or Blackberry and finally picked the Motorola Droid. Only to have 60 days later two new Motorola Droid phones on the market - Droid X and Droid 2. So, I waited to buy and got the last of the 1st generation of Droids...that sucks, I hate cell phone companies and their contracts.

*Motorola will split into two companies in Q1 2011 - finally, the cellphone business will no longer be sucking the life out of the two-way radios that has been toting their behind for all these years since Nokia and everyone else started taking their market share - anybody in business school looking for a paper topic on how to go from market inventor and leader (800 pound gorilla) to also ran check out Motorola. Looks like Google is going to help save their bacon.

The 3:30pm ABC game of the week is Virginia Tech vs NC State (Is this game really more exciting than the Clemson vs Miami game? Didn't V Tech lose to James Madison and Kyle Parker was drafted higher that Russell Wilson from NC State and the State fans do that silly (actually thinking of another word) wolfpack thing with their fingers.)
When Miami was in there bad boy days and were playing Notre Dame, you had to love the T-shirts "Catholics vs Convicts" and I don't even like Notre Dame.
I guess Florida is the new Miami and has the Al Davis motto "Just Win Baby"
*So I put off buying a new phone for almost a year until Aubrey finally finished off my ancient Motorola Q. I analyzed and had heartburn over which phone to purchase - Droid or Blackberry and finally picked the Motorola Droid. Only to have 60 days later two new Motorola Droid phones on the market - Droid X and Droid 2. So, I waited to buy and got the last of the 1st generation of Droids...that sucks, I hate cell phone companies and their contracts.
*You missed out on Moe's Thank You Thursday's (BOGOF, ended on Sept 23rd) just like I did or if you didn't and didn't tell me about it, I probably will block you from this blog. Evidently, it was a super secret.
*It's a rainy Monday...what does that mean for the rest of the week? Hold on it should be interesting.
