Let's talk about medicine...Aubrey loves it. Even the ones that she doesn't like, she will take (and I am not implying she takes a lot of medicine because she doesn't - she has had a couple of antibiotics for ear infections, occasionally Motrin(when we want her to leave us alone, sleep late or go to bed early (just kidding) and some cough and decongestant medicine). She tells us "I don't feel good. I need some medicine" even when she isn't sick. When she actually is sick and we ask her to come take her medicine, she comes running with an open mouth.
Let's go the other extreme, Wyatt. Hates it. Hates all of it, even the ones that smell good. He doesn't want it in his mouth and he puts up a pretty good fight. If you don't get if far enough back in his mouth it is coming out. As soon as he sees the syringe, he is closing his mouth and whining. He has even got to the point where he doesn't open his mouth wide enough to cry to let you sneak it in. We like a good challenge.
Aubrey's Career Choice
It's settled. Aubrey is going to work for a trash company. That girl loves to put stuff in the trash can. She wakes up in the morning and immediately goes to Wyatt's room to pick up the empty medicine containers from Wyatt's breathing treatments (I leave them out on purpose, so she can do it and she has yet to let me down). She was obsessed last year at Christmas about picking up all the paper and putting in the trash bag. She does the same thing around the house..."I put that in the trash can." "I want to help Daddy take the trash out."
All in all I don't guess this is a bad thing. At least the house will be clean and she will have job security (unless this Green thing catches on...she should be okay for most of career as a sanitation professional).
